Privacy notice

How Tackett Jiu Jitsu uses account, purchase, library, playback, and production telemetry data.

What this notice covers

This notice explains how Tackett Jiu Jitsu handles information when you buy and watch a streaming instructional.

Account, purchase, and access information

We store your email address, a hashed password, and records of your orders and library access so you can sign in and use the instructionals you purchased. We also store lesson watch progress, including your saved position and completion status, so you can resume where you left off.

Payments

Payments use Stripe Checkout. Stripe hosts the payment page and provides payment receipts. Card details are entered on Stripe's checkout page and do not pass through this server. We keep the order details needed to confirm the purchase, show it in your account, and provide access to the instructional.

Video playback

Videos are hosted and played by Bunny Stream. When an entitled customer opens a lesson, the site creates a time-limited, signed Bunny player link for that lesson. The player link does not expose the signing key or a source video URL.

Email

We use Resend to send transactional messages from the site's email outbox. These messages include purchase and access messages, as well as account-claim and password-reset links.

Cookies and security

We use Django session cookies to keep you signed in and support the checkout flow. We use a CSRF cookie to protect forms and other changes you make on the site. In production, these cookies are marked secure, use the Lax same-site setting, and the session cookie is not available to JavaScript.

Production telemetry

If enabled in production, Cloudflare Web Analytics provides site analytics and Sentry receives error reports and a limited sample of performance traces. Both services are optional production integrations and are not loaded when their configuration is absent.
